ALAN Carr fans spotted a design fail in a room makeover on Interior Design Masters – but did you notice it?
The first episode of the third series of the BBC show premiered tonight.
For their first task, head judge Michelle Ogundehin and designer Matthew Williamson asked the contestants to renovate a living room or bedroom and a home office for a young stylish client.
The 10 aspiring interior designers teamed up in pairs, were given a budget of £1,50 and had to do it in just two days.
Mural artist Richard was paired with admin assistant Molly – and luckily they both had very similar ideas.
They ended up going with Richard’s design for the bedroom.
He told the cameras: “I honestly feel so good.
“The curtains are just well worth those hours that I spent sewing them so really, really chuffed.”
However Michelle wasn’t impressed.
As she walked into the room, she said: “Instantly distracted by the shortness of the curtains.
“What’s that about?”
And viewers at home thought the same thing.
One wrote on Twitter: “Why are the curtains so short?!?#interiordesignmasters.”
A second added: “I’m currently having OCD nightmares from looking at the short curtains. #InteriorDesignMasters.”
A third wrote: “The curtains are terrible, how can he think they’re perfect?! #interiordesignmasters.”
A fourth tweeted: “Oh Richard those curtains… #interiordesignmasters.”
A fifth said: “Those short curtains?! No. Worst flat yet #interiordesignmasters.”
